Each board has a shallow groove around the perimeter to help keep the juices from spilling over the board onto your counter or table.
Each board has 4 rubber feet. These feet serve two purposes, one is to keep the board off of the counter to help protect it from moisture damage, the second is to help stabilize the board and prevent board movement as you work.
Boards are easy to clean, simply spray off in the sink and use a soapy dish towel to scrub clean, rinse and dry. Do not submerge in sink or put in dishwasher, see care instructions for more info.
