"Traeskal"

 My Americanized version of the Danish word meaning "Tree Bowl" or "Wooden Bowl".  

Traeskal to me is a love for quality and a love for fellowship.  The best things in life, the best memories, the best relationships are enhanced and encouraged to grow around the dinner table.  The tools that we use and the setting that we create can have an affect on those moments. The warmth and peace that natural wood brings to the table fills our hearts and souls with joy.  We may cook at different levels of skill in the kitchen, but we all can appreciate quality products that enhance our experience.  We especially feel good about how that product is made, and the materials that were used to make it.

Our vision is to produce the highest quality products using sustainable practices and a strong focus on not just function but also aesthetics.  We have taken that vision and broken it down to three simple words.

Natural, Functional, Beautiful    

I build my products in the beautiful driftless area of Northeast Iowa.  I couldn't make it happen without the love and support of my amazing wife and children.
